 DEAR GREAT 78ers!  You will notice some aesthetic changes to the site every now and then.   It seems that several Crawford Alumni classes really really, really like our site; lets keep em guessing. I 've added a banner at the bottom, so that if any other Class copies our site, we get a bonus from the server to add to the Class of 78 budget!  YAHOO!

 IMPORTANT:  Our website has been hit by a Nigerian Scam.  Our server has contacted us, and is currently putting in filters and monitoring incoming traffic; I am upgrading some information and may put in filters for new members. Please go into your profile and modify who can view your page.  Thanks to Brenda L-D., Michael D., Diane C-A, Carol L-V and Miranda L. for sending in the info to our server.  THANKS for your patience!

  • I am very slowly adding some recipes from our last gathering in May.  Sorry, but work had recently taken precedence over updating the site, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???  Who invented the concept of meetings?  I'm exhausted!

     So far, I've added Teena Frazier, Carol Lee, Karen Luna, and Helen Jones' recipes.  Someone gave me a Betty Crocker recipe but I don't know who brought it.

The CLASS of '78

  • AAAGH!  I agreed to post this one more time:
Class of 79 has had NO volunteers to Plan their reunion.   (At this point, I suggest you all meet in a Bar SOMEWHERE! OOORRRRRRR, You know that you can have an online reunion via classmates.com, but that doesn't sound like fun now, does it?)  POTLUCK AT LA JOLLA SHORES, OR PARK, OR SOMETHING!   GOOD LUCK!!! YOU'LL NEED IT! 

Rumor Mill:  Your 30th reunion is on August 1 at Barona CASINO.  Will anyone show up?  Have fun!  P.S. There is no drinking on Reservation land!

THE DEL MAR FAIR (aka:  San Diego County Fair) started Friday, June 12. Last day is approaching fast!  It opens at 11:00 am.  (via road signs!)  Click on the Music Mania theme link on the left.  Yep I hope the link is working now! 

Music ManiaThey are allowing you to bring your own food-no glass containers, metal knives, or alcohol. (Prices have gone up on Cinnamon Rolls, Hot Potato Chips, Turkey legs, Corn on the Cob, Deep Fried Avocados-what cholesterol check?) 

You can prepurchase tickets at Costco (Poway location is sold out) and get a family 4-pack for about $56 which includes admission, drinks and 50 ride tickets. The package also includes the $10 parking. Fair Admission is $13 (for 12 yrs. and up) They also have a season pass for $22 per person.  Tuesdays are kids days.  Albertson's has discounted tickets-$2 off or $11.00 per person. 

I've listed what's left of the concerts so make sure you DOUBLE-CHECK dates and times.  HAVE A GAS. . . .TRONOMIC TIME!
