Jim was super, scary smart. I remember him as the strong silent type. I shared a lot of classes with him and always enjoyed his quiet sense of humor. My best memory was playing tennis with him and having intense conversations afterward. Even though I didn't keep closely in touch with him after Crawford, I miss him. It hurts knowing that he isn't out there doing great things and having intense conversations with others.
